Spam Filtering

The most important thing you can do immediately is to ensure that all our emails get through to you, otherwise you might miss a vital bulletin.  To do this, check if you (or your Internet Service Provider) are running any kind of email filtering software.  If so you should 'whitelist' our sending address by specifically entering 'bkline@veretekk.com' as a recognized email address, thereby allowing them to bypass any filters.

The FAT Components

Target Page

This is the ‘place’ online that you decide you want all traffic generated by the FAT system to go to. Normally, it would be your sales page, or doorway page, or referral page, or opportunity, or whatever it is that you want to promote and that you want as many real people as possible to see. You might decide to have more than one Target Page and the system certainly allows you to do this. However, I would recommend keeping the number down to as few as possible, at least initially, so that you can clearly see the resulting buildup of traffic. Just one Target Page is best to start with; you can always add more later.

Hit Pages

These are special pages that you create (using the Hit Page Wizard) solely for the purpose of receiving hits from the automatic Traffic Generators, multiplying them, and transferring the resulting traffic to your Target Page. They have a number of different types of banner ads sourced from Banner Exchanges, and a couple of popup ads plus a popunder ad placed by Popup Exchanges. As a result, every time a Hit Page receives a hit that is generated by one of the Traffic Generators, it notches up credits automatically in every Traffic Exchange featured on the page. These credits are then used to advertise your Target Page on the websites of members of all these networks, resulting in a surge of traffic.

Sound simple? It is! But don't be deceived by its simplicity. The FAT system is incredibly powerful. Every time your Hit Page receives a hit (that is generated automatically once it's set up), it advertises your website, or affiliate program, or opportunity, or whatever else you want to promote, to a multitude of real people all over the Internet.

Traffic Exchanges

In the past, the most insurmountable problem for Traffic Exchanges was that your website needed a lot of traffic before your ad would be seen by enough people to make it worthwhile. This was because it would only be shown to half as many people as were already visiting your site. It defeated the object somewhat if you were trying to build up traffic, since you needed a good traffic flow already in place for it to work. That problem is now solved because the FAT system produces all the traffic you need!

Popups

These are mostly miniature popups, i.e. small, non-intrusive ads measuring 1/8 page or less that don’t cover up everything the viewer was reading and can be closed or moved out of the way easily.

Of the two types, the first are sometimes known as drop-in, or slide-in ads, which more or less sums up how they work. They are impossible to ignore but, because of their small size, they can only display a tiny advertisement consisting of just a headline. However, due to their small footprint, plus the fact that they are impervious to most popup killer programs, they are a very popular and effective alternative to full page popups, which are now so often blocked.

The second type are sometimes better known as popunder ads, which means they open behind the main window. Most often, site visitors are not even aware of them having loaded until they close the page they were viewing. In the FAT System there are two kinds: the first is similar to, but larger than, a drop-in ad and therefore offers more scope for a persuasive ad that will encourage the reader to click to your target page. Like drop-ins, they are safe from most software designed to block popups. The other kind does allow a full page display, which means it can be blocked, but no credits get used up if it is. This is included because, despite everything, it's still one of the most effective free advertising methods online.

Banners

Don’t listen to people who try to persuade you that banners don’t work any more. This is nonsense. Although they no longer have the novelty value they once had, they are a perfectly legitimate way of getting the word out about whatever it is that you’re promoting. As in all advertising, the headline is crucial and must be designed to attract clicks. Also, there are many different types of banner now in common use on the Internet, such as standard graphic banners, text ad banners, vertical banners etc.

The FAT system allows you to get the most out of them by bringing a variety of types into play at once. Also, the majority of them allow you to choose the category of viewers to whom your ad will be exposed. This is a powerful feature because it means your advertising can be targeted to a particular segment of the population.

Traffic Generators

These programs are really Traffic Exchanges too, but ones that automatically and effortlessly expose your Hit Pages to a network of 'virtual viewers', as opposed to real viewers. I use that description because the quality of 'viewings' is very low due to the fact that they run automatically. Members of these networks can, and do, ignore most (if not all) of the pages that get shown. After all, they are people just like you, who are trying to get their own pages viewed by others but have no incentive whatever to look at anyone else’s. However, the magic of this system is that 'quality of viewing' simply doesn't matter. Your Hit Pages are designed to do a very specific job and the FAT system works even if nobody ever reads them!

A Word About Advertising

All advertisements, by their very nature, are intrusive to a degree. However, if you find popups really irritating, or even banners, please be assured that the ones used in the FAT system are extremely powerful, and, in the case of one popup (really a popunder) you are looking at what is probably the most powerful free advertising method currently available to the Internet entrepreneur. The truth is that they may not be as effective as they once were (when they had novelty value) but, give them a headline that attracts attention and they will get your message out. As with any advertising anywhere, the secret is in the numbers (and that attention-grabbing headline). The FAT system, as you will see, supplies the numbers. And remember, viewers of your ads won't be surfing aimlessly for credits but will be real people visiting actual websites that they've chosen to go to.

If you are worried about the wisdom of using them on your site, don't be. They will only be displayed on your Hit Pages, where they will earn you credits that will be used to display your advertisement on websites owned by many other people. It's Jo Public that matters and she will see your ad on someone else's site—not the popup or banner (featuring someone else's ad) that is shown on your Hit Pages.

Downline Building

Please Note: You are not required to promote the FAT system if you don't want to—it will still work even if you never recruit anyone into any of your downlines.

However, to help you promote your FAT system if you do want to (and you will get a lot more traffic if you do), downline builders for all the component parts are included as an integral part of the system. All the Traffic Exchanges in the FAT System award referral commissions (i.e. extra credits) to those who succeed in adding more members to their networks, and they provide 'referral links' for this purpose. When those referred recruit still more, so even more credits are awarded, and this continues down through several layers. This builds a credit-earning downline facility that, like the FAT system itself, is completely automatic.

The result then, is a multi-layered list of people under you in each program, and from their activities you earn more and more credits and get more and more exposures of your Target Page. With the FAT system, you stand to gain many downlines so you can really profit from this exponential marketing factor.

Experienced Internet marketers are likely to cynically react to this by saying "if only it was that easy!" but the beauty of the FAT system is that, to a large degree, the theory actually works! Any real people to whom you expose your Hit Pages and who read about the FAT system, quickly realize how valuable all this advice is about combining free Traffic Generators with free Traffic Exchanges by using Hit Pages, and therefore willingly accept your advice too about which ones to invest their time and energy into—and consequently join your downlines.
